2009 Mathematics Data Released!

NAEP 2009 Mathematics data for the nation, states and districts at grades 4 and 8 are out! See the reports at the links below, but the newly released NAEP data tools are worth exploring!

Reading will be released in the spring of this year (since reading has a new framework, it doesn't fall under the 6-month reporting requirement).

Mapping State Proficiency Standards Onto NAEP Scales 2005-2007 is now available from NCES!
Since 2003, NCES has compared each state’s standard for proficient performance in reading and mathematics by placing the state standards onto the NAEP scale. Education Week summarized by headlining "NCES Finds States Lowered 'Proficiency' Bar;" see what you think.
